Biography
Toni Trucks is an American actress known for her work in theater, film, and television.
She studied Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. After graduating, she moved to New York, where she performed in regional theater before relocating to Los Angeles to make her television debut as the female lead on Showtime's comedy series Barbershop. Her television appearances include roles on Hostages, The Soul Man, House, All of Us, Veronica Mars, 'Til Death, Brothers, CSI: NY, as well as the telefilms Star Runners and Starstruck. She has also guest-starred multiple times on NCIS: New Orleans and Grimm.
Her film credits include Dreamgirls, Weapons, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, and Music and Lyrics.
Trucks is a series regular on CBS’s military drama SEAL Team, portraying Lisa Davis, the logistics officer responsible for coordinating the team’s operations and equipment. She was also a series regular on the CBS legal drama Made in Jersey, playing Cyndi Vega, the spirited secretary and loyal partner to the main character, Marina (Janet Montgomery). Additionally, she guest-starred in the pilot episode of NBC’s thriller Do No Harm.
Her theater work includes performances in By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, Cactus Flower, Stormy Weather, Kiss Me, Kate, West Side Story, Oklahoma!, Follies, Footloose, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Ragtime, Sweet Charity, and Children of Eden. Trucks also studied theater abroad at Marymount College in London and has over 17 years of dance training in ballet, modern, and tap.
In 2012, Trucks co-starred in the Fox Searchlight film Ruby Sparks, which starred Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan and was directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine). She also appeared in the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2, as Mary, a member of the American Nomadic Vampire coven.
Toni Trucks grew up in Manistee, Michigan, where her divorced parents live about a mile apart. She has two older brothers.
