Ahmed Hashmi is a Chicago-based actor, writer, and filmmaker known for his grounded presence, sharp comedic instincts, and emotionally authentic performances. Equally at home in character-driven drama and comedy, Ahmed brings a natural blend of humor, warmth, and depth to screen roles - from comedic relief and comedic character work to more serious, textured storytelling. Born and raised in Chicago, Ahmed trained extensively in performance and improvisation at The Second City and iO Theater. His background in filmmaking and character creation gives him a strong understanding of story, timing, and tone - tools that support both his dramatic and comedic work. Ahmed’s on-screen experience spans short films, narrative projects, sketch comedy, and thriller-inspired stories, alongside original content developed through his production company, Black Chili Productions.
