Biography

Sean Paul Lockhart is an American actor and director. He began his acting career in gay pornographic films under the stage name Brent Corrigan. His debut film, "Every Poolboy's Dream" (2004), was made when he was just 17, and he went on to feature in seven more films for Cobra Video.

Lockhart has been involved in two significant controversies. The first arose when he revealed he was underage during his initial pornographic film. This sparked a second controversy involving Bryan Phillips (also known as Bryan Charles Kocis) of Cobra Video, who claimed ownership of the screen name "Brent Corrigan." Phillips asserted that Lockhart could not work in the adult industry under that name, potentially limiting his career opportunities. When Lockhart launched the website BrentCorriganOnline.com, Phillips filed a lawsuit against him for copyright infringement, cyber-squatting, and breach of contract related to the use of the screen name. The case was scheduled for a hearing in February 2007. Meanwhile, Lockhart connected with producers Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes of Falcon Films, who were interested in collaborating but recognized the complications due to Phillips' claim on the name. In January 2007, Phillips was found murdered—stabbed 28 times, with his throat cut and nearly decapitated—and his home was set on fire to destroy evidence. Cuadra and Kerekes were believed to have killed Phillips to free Lockhart from his contract, enabling him to work legally under the name Brent Corrigan. Although this connection could have harmed Lockhart's career, he was never charged with conspiracy, and no evidence has linked him to the crime. Upon becoming a person of interest, Lockhart fully cooperated with authorities in their investigation. Cuadra and Kerekes received life sentences.

Lockhart has since advanced his career by establishing his own website, continuing work in adult films, appearing in mainstream gay-themed movies, and producing public service announcements promoting safe sex.

His film appearances include "Milk" (2008), "Judas Kiss" (2011), and "Triple Crossed" (2013).
