Isaiah Lucas is a Japanese and Black American actor, dancer, model, and community activist from Las Vegas, NV. He is the middle child of three siblings, born to La Mar Lucas, a firefighter, and Malina Booker, a school teacher. Isaiah attended Las Vegas Academy, where he auditioned and was accepted as a theater major.
After graduating high school, Isaiah moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue an acting career. Soon after, he was signed by commercial agent Daniel Hoff of The Daniel Hoff Agency.
Over the next few years, Isaiah gained national and international recognition, appearing in numerous commercials and print ads worldwide for brands such as Seventeen Magazine, Paul Frank, Pepsi, Mentos, PlayStation, Red Bull, IBM, Nintendo, JBL, Apple, and more.
In 2009, he began training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, where he studied movement, choreography, acting, and taking direction. He also trained with master vocal coach Angel Hart. In 2010, Isaiah landed a role as a dancer in Debbie Allen's Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, performing for six consecutive years. Four years in, he was asked to understudy the four lead roles originally played by Jaleel White, Carlo Imperato, Debbie Allen, and Raven Symone, eventually performing as Bucky, a role originally played by Debbie Allen.
In late 2013, Isaiah toured nationally as a dancer for Billboard Top 100 pop artist Sasha Gradiva, later becoming her creative director and choreographer for the Lovers Wanted Tour, which visited over 25 cities across the country.
Shortly after, Isaiah secured his first acting role in the short film Our Father, starring Michael Gross, playing Jack, a secret love interest in a mental hospital. Later that year, he appeared as an ER patient in an episode of ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
Isaiah then starred in Dance Baby Dance, a feature film alongside Beverly Mitchell, portraying Ravon, a humble hip-hop dancer who returns home to care for his ailing grandmother.
In his free time, Isaiah enjoys traveling, video editing, working out, mentoring youth, and giving back to his community. With his passion for his craft, compassion for others, and a vibesexual approach to relationships, Isaiah continues to connect with people, set new artistic standards, and challenge social boundaries both on screen and within his communities.
