Biography
Whitney Noble (formerly Whitney Rose Pynn), an actress and mental health advocate, was raised in the small town of Sayville, NY, on Long Island's South Shore. She is the middle daughter of Ray Pynn, a sign maker, and Lydia Pynn, a registered nurse, with two sisters: Vanessa, the eldest, and Taylor, the youngest. Whitney spent much of her youth aspiring to be a professional ballet dancer, attending The School of American Ballet for six years beginning at age 10. During her time at SAB, she performed with New York City Ballet in productions such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Coppelia, and Harlequinade, and with American Ballet Theater in Le Corsaire and Mozartiana. At 16, after leaving SAB, Whitney began acting classes and soon decided to pursue acting as a career. She studied Theatre and Psychology at The University of Maryland, where she took on diverse stage roles, including Lady Caroline Bramble in Enchanted April and the Little Jesus in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman. After graduating, Whitney relocated to Los Angeles to focus on film and television. Her first leading film role was as Shauna Roberts in Kathleen Behun's award-winning 2013 film, 21 Days. Her first recurring television role was Minnie, a member of the Manson family, on NBC's drama Aquarius. Whitney is married to Jared Noble, her co-star from the film Cellphone, whom she met in Chillicothe, Ohio.
