Biography
Adam Vernier is an American actor with a diverse career spanning film, television, theater, voiceover, and commercials. His passion for acting began at age five in Chicago when he auditioned for the role of Danny Torrance in The Shining, ultimately becoming the runner-up for the iconic part. This early experience ignited a lifelong commitment to the craft.
He is best recognized for his recurring roles as Sheriff Harold Guidry on Queen Sugar (OWN), Gavin on Outer Banks (Netflix), Officer Jim Tuttle on Outcast, and Coach Johnson on The Runarounds (Prime Video). Over the years, Adam has appeared in numerous TV series, feature films, national commercials, industrial productions, and stage performances, earning a reputation for authenticity, versatility, and emotional depth in every role.
Beyond acting, Adam owns Book It Studios in Orlando, Florida, where he coaches actors of all levels in commercial, television, and film audition techniques. Dedicated to helping others thrive, he mentors emerging performers while continuing his own on-camera work.
A longtime advocate for actors, Adam has served on the SAG-AFTRA Florida Board and remains actively involved in supporting the performing arts community. Outside of work, he enjoys long-distance running, spending time with his two daughters, and pursuing personal and professional growth.
