Biography
Paloma Marcos Sanches Silva (born May 21, 1977, in São Paulo), known professionally as Paloma Duarte, is a Brazilian actress. She is the daughter of actress Débora Duarte and singer-songwriter Antônio Marcos.
Paloma is also the granddaughter of actress Marisa Sanches and actor Lima Duarte, and the half-sister of filmmaker Daniela Duarte and singer Aretha Marcos. She attended a German boarding school in São Paulo but, due to her rebellious nature, left school at age 14, completing only the eighth grade. During this period, she began smoking secretly. At 15, in 1992, following several conflicts with her mother, she left home and became emancipated. In 1993, she married singer Renato Lui, but the marriage lasted only until 1995. In 1994, at 17, she gave birth to her first daughter, Maria Luiza.
In 1996, Paloma started dating actor Marcos Winter, marrying him in 1997, the same year their second daughter, Ana Clara, was born. Their marriage lasted until March 2003. In September of that year, she began a relationship with singer Oswaldo Montenegro, who was 21 years her senior; they married in December 2003 and separated in January 2009.
In December 2009, she began dating actor Gabriel Braga Nunes, her co-star in Poder Paralelo, and they were together until April 2011. That same month, she started a relationship with actor Bruno Ferrari, who left his seven-year marriage to be with her. They married in August 2012. On April 28, 2016, Paloma welcomed her third child, a son named Antônio.
