Karen Dfouny Senior Project Manager & Executive Producer
With over 25 years of experience in the TV and entertainment industry, Karen began her career working on prime-time TV ads for Procter & Gamble, where she soon made her mark by directing and working on notable spots in the Middle East. A passion for television led to the direction of three prime-time series for ART/LBC, before a breakthrough opportunity arose with ARAB AND RADIO TV. For more than 15 years, Karen played a pivotal role in shaping the network's production operations across the Arab world, managing teams and productions in Beirut, Cairo, and Rome as Head of Promotions and Executive Producer of major events. Karen's career has spanned TV shows, TV series, live events, feature films, and coverage at prestigious festivals like Cannes. she contributed to the thriving media industry in Egypt, KSA, UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, and beyond. Karen later leveraged her expertise as a production consultant for prominent production companies in KSA and UAE, as well as providing seminars with twofour 54 in Dubai Media City and Lebanese universities. Since 2017, Karen has been with Imagic Productions, where she serves as Senior Project Manager and Executive Producer. She has been instrumental in producing international formats, such as Takeshi's Castle - Saudi Arabia, Top Fisherman for Discovery Channel, and hit TV series for Shahid TV, Discovery Channel, and SBC. Her work has earned them multiple awards, including the Best Children's Program Award at the 23rd Arab Radio and Television Festival for Aghannilak on SBC in Tunisia. Karen works also as a consultant on numerous productions and theaters within " Mawssam Al Riyadh ". With a career dedicated to creating powerful stories and unforgettable moments, Karen continues to lead major productions in the Arab world, finding passion in turning dreams into reality on screen.
