Biography
Since beginning his career in 1989, he has appeared in over 30 theatrical productions, such as *What a Tree*, *Grease*, *The coming flood*, *Tom Sawyer*, *CATS*, and *The Mandragora* and has worked as both an actor and producer on the play *Nasty*, among others.
In film, he has a body of work comprising 31 titles spanning both short and feature films most notably his co-starring role in Diego Ros's *The night guard*. That film won Best Film at FICM 2016, Best Film in the World Fiction Competition at the 2017 Los Angeles International Film Festival, and the Ariel Award for Best First Feature in 2018. He also Starred in the "Nahuales" segment of the film *Satanic Hispanics*, directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero. Starred in the "God of Death" story in *V/H/S/85*, also directed by Gigi Saul Guerrero. Starred in the film *A place on the beach*, winner of the Best On-Screen Values award at the Glass Screen Film Festival Mexico. Additionally, he has worked as an acting coach, coaching the lead actors on films such as Ernesto Contreras’s *Dad or Mom*, Clint Eastwood’s *Cry Macho*, and Adrian García Bogliano’s *Talking to Strangers*, among other projects. His filmography also includes titles such as *The Perfect Dictatorship*, *Impossible Things*, and Raúl Busteros’s *Otaola or the Republic of Exile* which received a special mention at the 2000 Amiens International Film Festival, among many others.
In television, he has participated in over 30 projects including series, Mexican Soap Operas, and TV commercials such as: *Narcos: Mexico* co-starring as Hernin Naranjo, Luis Estrada’s *The Dead*, *Killer Women*, *The Minondo*, *Real estate* Season 2, *Paramedics*, *DKDA*, *Iron Soul*, *To Love Again*, *Storm in Paradise*, *The Beach House*, *Alegrijes and Rebujos*, *Mision SOS*, Mundo Fox’s *Damned Temptation*, Televisa’s *Great Transformations of Mexico*, BTF Media’s *Her name was Dolores*, *Club of Crows* Season 3, and Univision’s *Descontrol*.
He pursued professional acting training at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre Los Angeles, Hollywood Film School, Lumiere Film Institute Mexico, Roberto Ayala Dance Studio, Dance Olympus Las Vegas, NV, and Jazzart Dance Studio. He studied under instructors such as Elia K. Schneider, D'Mitri Boudrine, Tim McNeil, Lura Leiva, René Pereira, Ignacio Guadalupe, María Novaro, Juan Carlos De Llaca, Hubert Barrero, Roberto Ayala, Raymundo Zavala, and Dov Siemens, among others.
