Biography
Julius Carr is an American comedian, actor, and producer known for his raw, unfiltered stage presence and dynamic on-screen performances. Blending sharp wit with bold storytelling, Carr has built a reputation as a fearless voice in comedy while steadily expanding his footprint in film and television.
He appears in the Tubi sci-fi romantic comedy Computer Love (2025), where he plays the unapologetically abrasive landlord "Carl," and was featured on the dating series Chews Me (2023) as the standout "Horror Buff" contestant. Carr also portrayed Detective Hodges in the series Bishop and Chainey across multiple episodes (Seasons I & II, 2022 to 2024), appeared in Waymore Place (2024) as the memorable "Drunk Uncle," and played Detective Torres in the feature film Him or Me (2026).
A background role evolved into a recurring opportunity on the Starz hit series Power Book III: Raising Kanan, where Carr worked alongside acclaimed actors Wendell Pierce, Patina Miller, and Mekai Curtis during Seasons 4 and 5 as part of Snaps and Pops’ crew, marking a pivotal step in his television career.
