Biography
Elizabeth May Brice (born 8 September 1975) is an English actress recognized for her roles as Pat Kerrigan, a convicted murderess on ITV1's Bad Girls, and Agent Johnson in Torchwood: Children of Earth.
Born in Redhill, Surrey, Brice studied English at Cambridge University. Early in her career, she appeared as a schoolgirl witch in the 1986 adaptation of Jill Murphy's novel The Worst Witch and had a role in the 1988 children's sitcom News at Twelve, credited as "Lisa" Brice for both. In 2005, she joined the seventh series of the prison drama Bad Girls as Pat Kerrigan, a life-sentenced inmate for murdering her ex-boyfriend, becoming the show's final 'Top Dog.'
Brice has featured in BBC's Hustle and played Medic in the Resident Evil film. She made a cameo in the horror film AVP: Alien vs Predator, and her filmography includes Fortress 2 alongside Christopher Lambert and the US mini-series The 10th Kingdom. In 2007, she appeared in Channel 4's Peep Show and portrayed Susannah bat Jonah in the CBBC drama Roman Mysteries, based on Caroline Lawrence's books, acting alongside Nicholas Farrell, who she later reunited with in Torchwood: Children of Earth. In 2008, she took on the role of Herrena in the TV adaptation of Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic.
She starred in Dead Set, the zombie horror created by her former partner Charlie Brooker, and played Government assassin Agent Johnson in Torchwood: Children of Earth, aired in July 2009. Brice also appeared in The Bill as anti-terrorism officer Karen Lacy.
In April 2010, she featured in the Casualty episode "Loves Me, Loves Me Not," portraying Lyn, a mother of two child patients who becomes involved with Dr. Adam Trueman, recognizing her as a single mother.
Brice played Jenna in the 2012 crime thriller Hard Boiled Sweets.
In 2013, she appeared as Tara, the new love interest of Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), in the soap opera EastEnders from 26 to 30 August. Her character also clashed with local B&B owner Kim Fox (Tameka Empson). Following this, she appeared as Tina in Misfits.
In 2014, Brice provided the voices of Licia of Lindeldt and Milibeth in Dark Souls II and portrayed Gainsborough in the Black Mirror holiday special "White Christmas.
