Biography
Kijsa Gifford is 21 years old and is from Evansville, Wisconsin. She now resides in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Her name is pronounced "Ky-Sa." She is a certificate graduate from Lee Strasberg School in LA and is a former college student at USF. In addition to acting, Kijsa is currently pursing a Ph.D in World Diplomacy and Humanitarianism from the United Nations - University of Peace in Geneva where she will utilize her reach as an actor to make positive changes in the world.
She began acting at age 4 and is known for her current role as Maxine in the Lifetime Movie, "A Model Murder," the role of Starla in "Myra's Last Hope," and in the upcoming Season 2 of wildly popular TV series on Pureflix, "The Advocate," where she plays the role of Irina in a riveting and powerful performance as a young woman who survives human trafficking.
Kijsa has been focused on developing her production company and scripts for Norma Jean Entertainment over the past year and a half, honing her skills as an Executive Producer and writer, as well as an actor. Her studios has made exceptional progress with women based films and is currently in development of major studio projects that are expected to be greenlit in 2026 and 2027. Kijsa is slated to film multiple large budget studio style Indie projects as well as a re-occurring role in a popular TV Series in 2026.
She has spent most of her childhood in intensive training developing her skill set as an elite path-ed gymnast, volleyball player, lacrosse player, and collegiate-level pole vaulter, giving her unique skills and advanced physical abilities that complement her acting career. Kijsa trains with the legendary Anthony DeLongis and Timothy Kittlestad in whips, swords, bow and arrow, guns, and martial arts, adding additional depth to her already impressive repertoire of skills.
Kijsa is multi-ethnic and mixed ethnicity, her Grandmother is from Thailand, and she is very proud of her Thai, Norwegian, and English heritage. One interesting fun fact about Kijsa; she is a distant cousin of the late actress Marilyn Monroe, on her biological father's (Charles Stanley Gifford) side of the family. Kijsa has natural beauty, charisma, and charm, similar to her famous relative. Kijsa is poised to follow in her footsteps and will debut on the silver screen this year.
