Biography
Courtney Jones is an American actress, writer, and producer originally from Forestville, California, with a career spanning television, film, and stage, recognized for her grounded presence, emotional intelligence, and commanding versatility across genres. A SAG-AFTRA member, Jones has built an extensive television résumé with guest-starring roles on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med (NBC), along with appearances on All My Children (ABC), Friends with Benefits (FOX), Femme Fatales (Cinemax), and I’m in the Band (Disney Channel). Her ability to move seamlessly between drama, procedural, and comedy has made her a consistent presence across network and cable television. In film, Courtney Jones has appeared in major studio productions including Thor (Marvel Studios) and J. Edgar, directed by Clint Eastwood, while also maintaining a strong foothold in independent cinema. Her work includes supporting roles in The Lost Coast and Wild Prairie Rose, as well as lead performances in award-winning shorts such as Forget You and Fortune Cooky, the latter showcasing her strength as a leading woman in character-driven storytelling. Classically trained, Courtney studied extensively with Sharon Chatten studying the Method, and completed a two-year Meisner program under Robert X. Modica, in New York City.
