Biography
Alejandro Cruzet was born in New York City, where he lived until the age of 11 before moving to Miami, Florida. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School as a member of the Class of 2000. While at Columbus, Alejandro was a founding member of CCNN, the Christopher Columbus News Network, and served as the school’s lead anchorman. He won "Best On-Air Personality" three years in a row, an early reflection of his natural presence in front of the camera. CCNN Live later became the Student Television Network’s back-to-back national championship team in high school broadcast journalism in 2015 and 2016, an accomplishment no other high school in the nation has claimed.
From 2003 to 2007, Alejandro served in the United States Navy during Operation Enduring Freedom. He later continued his education, earning two master’s degrees: a Master of Accounting and a Master of Business Administration.
Alejandro’s passion for acting began at a young age, inspired by his late father’s deep love of cinema. He formally began his acting career under the direction of Ralph Kinnard at the Miami Acting School in Miami, Florida. Kinnard, who studied under Woody Allen, helped shape Alejandro’s early development as an actor and introduced him to a disciplined, cinematic approach to performance. As of September 7, 2023, Alejandro remained enrolled in the school’s Advanced Acting for Film class.
Within months of beginning his training, Alejandro was cast in physician roles in films such as *Ellie and Noah* and appeared alongside award-winning actress Natalie Veater in *Mother Nature*. He later continued building his screen credits with roles in projects including *The Asset*, *The Firing Squad*, *Great White Waters*, and *Killer Grannies*. In *The Firing Squad*, Alejandro was cast alongside notable actors Cuba Gooding Jr., Kevin Sorbo, and Eric Roberts.
Alejandro is a student of Method Acting and draws from a combination of techniques influenced by the teachings of Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg. His work reflects a commitment to emotional truth, disciplined preparation, and the belief that acting is both a craft and a lifelong pursuit.
