Biography
Maxwell Worship is an American actor, appearing in shows such as The Kouncil (Peacock), Decisions Are Never Black and White (Prime Video), as well as leading feature films such as Day 1 and The Hike Back. His recent work includes a SAG National commercial for a luxury car brand directed by Rick Famuyiwa. Maxwell was born in Coral Springs, FL to Victoria and Sean Worship. Both Successful entrepreneurs that work in Medical Sales. Maxwell's family lineage is of Jamaican, Caribbean and Indigenous descent. His parents met at the University of Florida in their late 20's and started their family in Miami, FL. Maxwell has two sisters, Domonique and Briana. His oldest sister graduated from Harvard Law School, moving on to become a lawyer for the NBA. His sister now works as a remote travel life coach.
In Maxwell's Adolescence, he would spend several summers at Next Stop Broadway. A local Theatre camp that would perform three different plays over the course of three months in front of an audience of 3,000 at the Broward County Center of Performance Arts. Some of the notable plays Maxwell performed in include Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, Camp Rock, High School Musical 2 and Toy Story. After finding much success in his love for the arts, his mother would place him in a local acting studio while in middle school, to continue to hone in on his craft and work on his improvisation and scene study skills. Maxwell would find representation under Stellar Talent. A South Florida based agency, which would connect him with the opportunity to audition in front of Casting Director Lori Wyman for a guest star role in America's Most Wanted. Maxwell would book the role shortly after auditioning and star in his first guest star role on television.
As passionate as Maxwell was for the acting and the arts, Maxwell was also just as passionate in his love for football and lacrosse. After graduating middle school and attending Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Maxwell would take time away from acting to focus on school and sports. Maxwell would play football for his high school during the fall while also playing lacrosse in the winter during the off season. Maxwell achieved much success in both sports while accumulating a 4.3 GPA academically. Maxwell would win two defensive player of the year awards in Varsity Lacrosse following his Sophomore and Junior Season. He would also accumulate over 15+ D1 scholarship offers to play college football finding much success on the football field making the all county team and winning Broward county defensive player of the year. Maxwell would decide to verbally commit to Vanderbilt University at the beginning of his Senior year, Where he would spend the next 5 years playing college football in the SEC, at the highest level of competition athletically and academically.
During Maxwell's time in college, Maxwell would try and find opportunities and windows to attend acting classes during the off season and in the summer but to no avail, while focusing on ball and school. After a successful and decorated collegiate career, Maxwell would graduate with a bachelor's in Business and a Master's in education. Following the end of his 5th season, Maxwell Worship would declare for the NFL Draft and attend training camp with both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans in the summer of 2023. After not being signed to the active roster, Maxwell would get back in contact with agencies such as Stellar Talent and Icon Talent, creating a Casting Networks profile. Following graduation he would start taking classes at the Miami Acting Studio getting coached by well-renown acting coach, Ralph Kinnard.
After finding representation under Talent Direct Agency, Maxwell would book his first lead role in an educational feature film that would be produced in St Croix, in the U.S Virgin Islands known as "Silent Drift". Maxwell would then go on to attain another lead role in a Christmas Play known as "Breaking Tradition: A Christmas Story" alongside the "Collectives". The next several months, Maxwell would book up to 12 commercials while attaining principal roles in 5 of them. Some notable commercials include Michelob Ultra Super bowl Commercial with Leo Messi, F1 x Google Chrome Featuring Maluma, and Chubbies. Most recently, Maxwell has found much success in starring in local Miami Web-series' Judge Porter and Soul Snack, in which episodes from both shows that he starred in have gone viral all over social media. Following much success, Maxwell has decided to move from South Florida to Atlanta Georgia, aiming to hone in on his craft, with the rest of his story being written as we speak.
