Jacquie Murrell, widely known as Lady J, is a multi-award-winning media mogul, serial entrepreneur, author, speaker, and visionary behind the powerhouse brand, E.G.O. Entertainment Network. As the founder and CEO of this multifaceted media empire, Lady J has redefined what it means to be a creative force, a community builder, and a global influencer in the entertainment industry.
Founded in 2017, E.G.O. Entertainment (Empowered Greatness Optimized) is a multimedia production and service company comprised of six divisions: JQLM Radio, E.G.O. Magazine, PRAIZE Magazine, EGO Group (PR & Management), EGO News, and EGO TV. Under Lady J's fearless leadership, the network provides an expansive range of services including radio and television broadcasting, podcasting, print and digital advertising, event coverage, red carpet coordination, public relations, production, volunteer programs, and internships. With a core mission to open doors to spaces and opportunities most only dream of, Lady J has built a platform that uplifts businesses, creatives, and communities across the world.
E.G.O. Lady J began her journey in media in 2015 and quickly gained recognition through numerous TV appearances, magazine features, and radio interviews for her work in community service, youth mentoring, business development, and personal testimony of triumph. In 2016, she was offered the opportunity to take over a radio media platform, which she grew to reach over 200,000 listeners in 66+ countries in just 8 months, setting the foundation for the E.G.O. brand.
In 2017, she launched her own television show, broadcast throughout the Midwest, Florida, and California on Comcast and AT&T U-Verse (JOY and CAN TV channels). That opportunity led her to acquire JOY as a client and begin producing content for the network-solidifying her position as a trailblazer in broadcast and entertainment.
Prior to building her media empire, Lady J earned degrees in Business Management and Psychology, while dedicating years to building and restructuring operations for other businesses. In 2010, she launched her first business and would go on to create three more, becoming a published author and sought-after speaker.
