Biography
Gino Montesinos is a Los Angeles-based professional actor and filmmaker trained at Harvard, with a diverse career encompassing premium television, major studio films, and top-tier Equity theater.
A dynamic presence across various media, Montesinos has appeared in recurring and prominent guest roles on over 40 television shows, including popular network and cable series like *Shameless*, *Animal Kingdom*, *Dexter*, *NCIS*, *Chicago Med*, *Hawaii Five-0*, and *Atypical*. His film work spans independent features such as *Poor Boy* alongside Michael Shannon to major studio productions like *Bruce Almighty* and *The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie*.
His theatrical background is equally impressive; trained at Harvard’s American Repertory Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training, he has performed on prestigious stages including The Mark Taper Forum, Lincoln Center, The Public Theater, and The Pasadena Playhouse. Internationally, he has led significant productions in Italy, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
Montesinos showcased his commanding stage presence as the lead and sole actor in the $27 million *Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular*, performing in Spanish alongside 17 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs before sold-out arenas of 11,000 attendees. This tour earned nearly $10 million at the box office within two weeks.
Over his career, Montesinos has worked alongside a remarkable array of industry legends, collaborating with artists who collectively hold 13 Oscars, 8 Golden Globes, 32 Emmys, and 6 Tony Awards.
As a multifaceted creator, he is currently writing, directing, producing, and starring in the upcoming film *Queens* (2027). Rooted in classical acting techniques and disciplined physical training, he also excels in extensive voiceover work for major streaming platforms in animation and dubbing and performs live radio theater before audiences.
