Nanda Ziegler (born Joelma Fernanda Gomes da Silva in Juiz de Fora, Brazil) is a multifaceted artist, writer, and entrepreneur whose career bridges television, literature, and technology. For over fifteen years, she was contracted with Record, Brazil's second-largest commercial television network and one of the world's largest free-to-air broadcasters, where she gained widespread recognition through her performances in telenovelas and series. Her ancestry traces back to the German-Jewish community of Sulzfeld, Baden-Württemberg, while her upbringing in Brazil shaped her spiritual and artistic sensibilities. Although raised in Catholic traditions, Ziegler developed a profound spiritual worldview, permeating her creative work with philosophical and existential depth. At PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), Ziegler specialized in Narrative Cinematographic Structure, expanding her storytelling abilities beyond performance into writing and conceptual development. This academic foundation nurtured her evolution from actress to writer and thinker. Her work interrogates society's illusions, prejudices, and affective values, often reflecting on the silences and contradictions in human behavior. In 2017, Ziegler relocated to California, positioning herself at the intersection of art, entertainment, and technology. There, she deepened her artistic practice while launching visionary projects: Her memoir, Love Beyond the Ordinary, which explores free expressions of love that transcend convention and reveal the transformative power of inner listening and authentic connection; and Freeexp (Free Expression), a blind-dating application she conceived to reimagine human connection through writing, voice, and art, offering a platform where love, friendship, and business encounters emerge from authentic, free creative expressions.
