Biography
Erika Prevost is a mixed-race Japanese-Canadian actor born and raised in Montreal, Canada. From an early age, Erika was drawn to the spotlight. She first expressed herself through movement, pursuing a career in dance before discovering acting. She began her acting journey with a series regular role on Disney's popular teen dance drama, The Next Step. Erika further refined her skills at The National Theatre School of Canada, where she majored in Acting, graduating in 2020. Now based in Toronto, she continues to advance her career.
Erika has made a significant impact in film and television with roles in Sony's Party Of Five, Amazon Prime's Colors of Love, Lionsgate's Step Up All In, Starz's American Gods, Lifetime's Saying Yes To Christmas, and Universal Pictures' seventh installment of the Bring It On franchise, among others. She is also set to star in an upcoming Tubi original film scheduled for release in December 2022.
In addition to acting, Erika has extensive dance training in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom. Her dance credits include performances on NBC's The Voice, the Just For Laughs Gala, Cirque du Soleil’s NBA All-Star Games, the Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony, and more.
Erika has worked across Canada, from Vancouver on the west coast to Halifax on the east coast, showing no signs of slowing down. Embracing the ever-changing nature of the entertainment industry, she aims to continue sharing her passion for storytelling with audiences everywhere, always valuing honesty over mere relatability.
