Biography

Molly Peters was a stunning and curvaceous British blonde actress and model who appeared in only a few films and TV shows during her brief acting career in the mid-1960s. Born in 1942 in Walsham-le-Willows, Suffolk, England, Peters began her career as a model. She appeared on the covers and in pictorials for several men's magazines, including "Playboy," "Modern Man," "Cavalcade," "Beau," "Ace," "Parade," "Best for Men," "Dapper," and "Escapade." Peters gained lasting cult cinema fame for her sensual role as Patricia Fearing, the alluring masseuse seduced by James Bond at the Shrubland health club in "Thunderball." Discovered by director Terence Young, she holds the distinction of being the first Bond girl shown undressing on screen. After her role in the 007 film, Peters appeared in two more movies and guest-starred in episodes of "Armchair Theatre" and "Baker's Half-Dozen." Her acting career came to an abrupt end reportedly due to a falling out with her agent.
