Eva Tamargo has distinguished herself as a star in both English- and Spanish-language television, carving out dual roles as a Hispanic icon and a prominent figure representing the rich multiculturalism of the United States—a dynamic increasingly reflected in American television. Born in Brooklyn to Cuban journalist Augustin Tamargo and Rosalba Nápoles, she refined her acting skills under the guidance of Sam Waterston, William Hickey, and Dorothy Dorff. Tamargo has worked across television, radio, commercials, and theater—most notably with New York’s Repertorio Español—in both English and Spanish.
