Biography
Arindam Saha is an Indian film actor. Saha working in theaters, televisions, films, TVCs, Web series, Digital ads in both Hindi and Bengali medium productions since the year 1995. Saha is also em-paneled drama artiste of CBC, Song & Drama division, Ministry of I&B, Govt. of India. Saha is theatre actor with acting in Television series, films, TVCs, Web series, Digital Ads in Hindi and Bengali. Saha is also a voice artiste worked several entertainment & broadcasting projects by dubbing, voice over and para dubbing in Hindi & Bengali. Saha's father was an Army personal in Artillery. For this reason, during his childhood, while living outside Kolkata with his family, Saha received his education in different Kendriya Vidyalaya in Hindi and English medium schools in various states. Later, Saha completed his graduation in Hindi Honours from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Kolkata at Pathabhawan. Saha is the eldest child in his family and has one married sister. In his childhood, Saha was inspired and captivated by films starring Amitabh Bachchan, such as Deewar, Sholay, and Trishul, and Amitabh's acting inspired him to become an actor from a young age. Even in his childhood, he participated in small plays at school and, while living on the army campus, took part in various dramatic performances for the soldiers. Later, with a professional approach, he nurtured this latent desire, completing his school education and joined college simultaneously joining group theaters of various renowned theater personalities in Kolkata, where he began acting regularly. What was once a passion for acting gradually transformed into his profession, a seed that had been consciously sown in his childhood. Saha's second marriage to Mahuya Singha was solemnized in 2021. They live happily in Kolkata with their two daughters (Saha's own daughter and his wife's daughter) with his mother, and he continues to be involved in his acting career. Saha directs his own theatre group, Natyachetana'03 and raises awareness about social issues through his plays in weaker section of our society, such as HIV/AIDS, Safe motherhood, Reproductive and child health, Women's rights, Girl child right etc.
