Biography
Riyad Ahmad is a Syrian producer and production executive whose career in television and audiovisual production began in 1989. Over more than three decades, he has worked across historical drama, contemporary drama, comedy, television films, children's programming, documentaries, advertising and large-scale television productions throughout the Arab world.
Ahmed began his career in production assistance and production execution before moving into production management and senior production leadership. He later became Director of Production Management and spent many years with AlSadaf for Audio Visual Production in Saudi Arabia, where he has worked on numerous productions associated with MBC and other major Arab broadcasters and platforms.
His television credits span several generations of Arab drama. His work includes the first two seasons of Bab Al-Hara, Al-Hajjaj, Thu Qar, Zaman Al-Wasl, Al-Murabitun Wal-Andalus, Sham Sharif, When Autumn Blooms, Min Ajliha, Zill Al-Hilm, Souq Al-Damaa, When the Moon Is Full, Sondos, Marzouqa, Eyal Nouf, Khuyut Al-Maazib and Tarad, among many others.
Throughout his career, Ahmed has worked in production management, executive production, creative production and production supervision, collaborating with filmmakers and production teams across the Middle East and internationally. His professional portfolio includes hundreds of television, film, documentary, advertising and media projects produced or filmed across more than twenty countries.
Ahmed has also worked with television organizations and production companies in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan and Qatar, and has been a member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate since 2000.
