Brandon (Brandi-Ann) Milbradt brings strategic insight to creative projects as an Executive Producer, Writer, Director, and Strategist, managing content creation across video, television, film, and virtual reality platforms.
A passionate science-fiction enthusiast, she is executive producer alongside Darren Aronofsky for a series adaptation of Margaret Atwood's bestselling Maddaddam trilogy. Milbradt recently sold an episodic virtual reality series, Pinkbox—a cyberpunk, psycho-sexual thriller set in a futuristic bordello. In 2015, she joined Refinery29 to launch their film and TV division. After the successful debut at the New York Upfronts, she executive produced a series of films for Glamour's Women of the Year Awards, assembling a diverse group of women directors to create eight films spotlighting that year’s honorees. The following year, she produced original films featuring figures such as Bono, Gwen Stefani, Black Lives Matter, Mrs. Prada, and Ashley Graham.
Currently, Milbradt is developing projects inspired by French feminist writer Anais Nin’s short stories, producing a docu-series for VICE, and delivering talks at industry events and colleges on her innovative approach to virtual reality storytelling.
Milbradt began her career in 2001 working in film and music videos. Her 2002 film, Hatley High, earned Best Director and Screenplay at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival. She then created IFC’s first scripted series, The Festival, which garnered critical acclaim and strong ratings, leading to a spin-off series, The Business, for multiple seasons.
She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children and volunteers in the Bronx and Queens Family Courts.
