Biography
Joseph Thomas Bailey is 48 years old and a founding member of the Native American Entertainment Coalition, the first known organization of its kind at the time, specifically dedicated to supporting and advocating for Native Americans in the entertainment industry. In addition to community outreach and representation efforts, the Coalition also provided cultural consulting on film, television, and media projects to ensure respectful and accurate portrayals of Native American cultures. Of Native American and Celtic heritage, Joseph was born in Chicago, Illinois, and now resides in San Antonio, Texas. He is married to a talented photographer and painter, and is a proud father to a 5-year-old daughter, who is already following in his footsteps as a model and aspiring actress.
A disabled U.S. Army Veteran and proud son of a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, Joseph is also a Gulf War era veteran. He brings discipline, depth, and a rich cultural background to every project. His talents span across acting, writing, producing, and voiceover work. He's also recognized as an Indigenous model, representing authenticity and celebrating the richness of both his Native American and Celtic heritage within the entertainment industry.
Beyond his creative work, Joseph is an active advocate for Indigenous and Celtic representation, as well as for veteran representation and current service members in the entertainment world. He is committed to promoting equity, visibility, and opportunity for underrepresented communities both in front of and behind the camera.
Joseph's on-screen experience includes film, television, and music videos-both as an actor, associate producer, content creator, producer, and member of miscellaneous crew teams. His passion for anthropology and diverse upbringing have given him the unique ability to authentically portray a wide range of cultural roles, making him a very versatile and compelling performer.
