Biography
Maddison Bullock is a multi-award-winning actor, writer, and producer, and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, the Writers Guild of America, and the Producers Guild of America. An already decorated producer, Maddison brings to her creative career the discipline, resilience, and lifelong commitment to excellence she developed as a competitive figure skater. She is currently attending USC’s renowned Peter Stark Producing Program, a highly selective graduate program made up of 25 film professionals chosen from around the world. At Stark, she studies under Chair Ed Saxon, the Academy Award-winning producer of The Silence of the Lambs, whose credits also include Philadelphia, Adaptation, and Ray Donovan.
As an actor, Maddison has appeared in popular series including 13 Reasons Why and will appear in Season 2 of Ransom Canyon alongside Josh Duhamel. She has also become a recognizable presence in the thriller and romantic comedy spaces through projects such as For Love or Murder and Wedding in the Hamptons. Her love of bringing physicality into her work comes from her background in figure skating and her deep appreciation for live performance. That same instinct also extends to her comedy: Maddison has performed a skating-themed stand-up routine at the world-famous Ice House Comedy Club.
Across her work as a writer and producer, Maddison is drawn to impactful, female-driven stories that celebrate resilience, transformation, and the vitality of the human spirit in the face of adversity. That creative mission can be seen in her early breakout work, Ice: The Movie, which she wrote, produced, and starred in. Inspired by her own experiences as a competitive figure skater, the film stars Gregory Itzin (24), Michael Monks (Air Force One), and Mike Manning (Days of Our Lives) and highlights themes of sportsmanship, family, and perseverance. Ice: The Movie received recognition from NBC Olympics for its authentic portrayal of the figure skating world before becoming a successful streaming title. Maddison has since had four additional screenplays produced, sold several others, and currently has multiple scripts under option. Her original ice-skating thriller, The Ice Rink Murders, was purchased by A&E and premiered in Lifetime primetime in May 2024 to strong reviews.
Following the success of Ice: The Movie, Maddison produced The Extraordinary Ordinary, directed by Natalie Rodriguez and starring John Posey (Teen Wolf), Alexander Montalbán (My Dinner with Hervé), and Ana Marte (Need for Speed). A poignant exploration of mental health, the film follows three young adults with histories of trauma and mental health struggles as they navigate triggers, friendship, and creative healing. The film was praised for its honest and relatable depiction of mental health and went on to win Best Performance at the Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival and Best Narrative Feature at the Culver City Film Festival before securing global distribution.
Another significant project in Maddison’s producing career is Wives of the Skies, directed by Honey Lauren and starring Rachel Alig (The Cleaning Lady). Set in 1965, the romantic dramedy challenges gender stereotypes while examining the male gaze and the objectification of women. Known for its sensual yet heartfelt look at the lives of two female flight attendants, the film enjoyed a successful festival run, received recognition from publications including Film Rant, and was later picked up by Hewes Pictures. Maddison has been featured on numerous podcasts and in publications including The Hollywood Outsider and Medium. She has also appeared as a guest speaker for organizations and events such as Bay Area Female Filmmakers, Women of Denver, and WhedonCon, where she has been a repeat special guest. During the pandemic, she produced her own podcast, Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder, exploring relationships, personal growth, and the entertainment industry. The show featured interviews with Academy Award winners, Emmy winners, Olympic athletes, and Stanley Cup champions, offering listeners insight and inspiration from accomplished figures across multiple fields.
In the spring of 2024, Maddison produced back-to-back thrillers with Jacob Snovel, Kyle Harris, and Nicholas Clement: Anywhere, directed by Adam Seidel and starring Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), and The Huntsman, starring Elizabeth Mitchell (The Purge: Election Year) and Garret Dillahunt (Where the Crawdads Sing). The Huntsman released theatrically in February 2026, while Anywhere is currently available on VOD. As of spring 2026, Maddison is shooting her directorial debut, Pulled Back, a female-driven genre-bender from her original screenplay that marks the next evolution of her voice as a filmmaker.
