Biography

Martin Campbell is primarily known as a location manager with over 25 years' experience in production. Martin is a key crew member in high-end TV dramas such as Truckers (2013), National Treasure (2016), Inspector George Gently (2007), Deep Water (2019), Vera (2011), Traitors (2019), Wild Bill (2019), The English Game (2020), and The Duchess (2020). Growing up in Yorkshire, his first exposure to production was on the long-running Leeds and Bradford produced soap Emmerdale Farm (1972). Once he acquired a taste for the industry, he decided to seek other opportunities and expand on the experience he had already gained. Although he loves locations and has a real passion for them, he decided the time was right to explore other aspects of production and accepted a line producer role on Flesh and Blood (2020), the ITV drama set in and around the south coast of England. He has since gone on to line produce the shows Grace (2021), The Bay (2019), and Then You Run (2023). He's also worked as a location manager and executive producer on a few music videos, short films, feature films too.
