Biography
Mia Abagale Tallarico (born December 22, 1978), widely known as Mia Tyler, is an American actress, model, and fashion designer.
She is the daughter of Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith, and actress Cyrinda Foxe. Mia was born at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire, and grew up near Lake Sunapee. She is the paternal half-sister of actress Liv Tyler, whose mother is model and singer Bebe Buell. In 1979, Steven Tyler composed a song titled "Mia," which appeared on Aerosmith's album Night in the Ruts.
At 17, Mia Tyler worked as a VJ on MTV's House of Style. She is primarily a plus-size model and has been represented by Wilhelmina Models. Her work has been featured in prominent magazines such as Seventeen, Teen, Teen People, Mode, Us, Jump, YM, Moxie Girl, Vogue, and on the cover of Flare. She has modeled for brands including H&M, MXM, Pennington's, and Lane Bryant and has walked in fashion shows in New York and Paris.
In February 2009, Tyler launched her own clothing line, Revolution 1228.
Tyler participated in VH1's Celebrity Fit Club in 2005 and appeared on Really Rich Real Estate in 2006. In March 2009, she served as a judge on Pretty Wicked, a reality series on the Oxygen network.
Her acting credits include the role of Marsha in Rush Hour 3, a cameo in O Brother, Where Art Thou, as well as appearances in People Are Dead, A Little Bit of Lipstick, and Inheridance.
In 2008, she published her autobiography, Creating Myself.
Both Mia Tyler and Steven Tyler appeared as chef's table guests in the red kitchen during Season 13 of Hell's Kitchen.
