Biography
Patrick Meaney is a writer, director, producer, and editor. Born in New York, he studied film at Wesleyan University. For the past fifteen years, he has worked in independent film. His latest feature, The Vanishing Tour, starring Amber Benson and Brendan Wayne, was filmed in August 2025.
His previous film, The Brink Of, was released in 2024 following an award-winning festival circuit and earned a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Before that, House of Demons, a psychological horror movie, was distributed by Smith Global Media/Sony. Meaney has also produced several documentaries about pop culture and comics, including Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods, Neil Gaiman: Dream Dangerously, Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts, and The Image Revolution.
His work has been showcased at film festivals and comic conventions worldwide, such as the Napa Valley Film Festival, Helsinki International Film Festival, Revelation Perth International Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival, Belfast Film Festival, as well as San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic-Con. He has appeared on panels alongside Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld. His films have been licensed by streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, Starz, and Amazon Prime.
