Biography
Scotty Leavenworth was born on May 21, 1990, in Riverside, California. At age four, inspired by his sisters, he began acting. Like many actors, he started with commercials and quickly discovered his passion for it. Before turning nine, he appeared in films such as The Green Mile (1999) with Tom Hanks, Come On, Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story (1999), Baby Geniuses (1999), Babe: Pig in the City (1998), The Soul Collector (1999) starring Melissa Gilbert, and Life as a House (2001) featuring Kevin Kline, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Hayden Christensen. He then secured a lead role in the successful film Erin Brockovich (2000), starring Julia Roberts.
Following his film roles, he transitioned to television, appearing in shows like Unsolved Mysteries (1987), Dads (1986) pilot, Meego (1997), The Young and the Restless (1973), Any Day Now (1998), The Nikki Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, ER, Citizen Banes (pilot), Philly starring Kim Delaney, and most notably, 7th Heaven.
He is currently filming Slow Moe (2010), co-starring AJ Michalka and Marc John Jefferies, with a planned release around late summer 2005.
While completing his freshman year of high school, Scotty continues to pursue his acting career. When not working, he lives in California with his family, cherishing time with loved ones. Whether portraying Ruthie Camden's boyfriend on 7th Heaven or playing his Gibson SG guitar with friends, Scotty remains dedicated to his passions.
