Biography
Juan Baldana is an Argentine director, writer, and producer with extensive experience in audiovisual storytelling. He spent twenty years at Torneos y Competencias, during its peak as the most influential sports production company in Latin America, where he rose through different roles until becoming Creative Director. There, he led the creative vision for several television networks and the iconic program Fútbol de Primera, as well as producing coverage for multiple FIFA World Cups, helping to define an entire era of sports broadcasting.
In parallel with his work in advertising and music videos, Baldana developed an author-driven career in documentaries, series, and feature films, premiering at international festivals and global platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and Flow. His work blends social insight, sports epic, and philosophical exploration, always marked by a powerful visual style and contemporary narrative voice.
