Biography
Zoya Shybkouskaya (known as Zoya Skya) is a producer and co-founder of Look Ad Me, a creative video production company producing feature films, commercials, branded content, and narrative projects. Through Look Ad Me, she oversees development, budgeting, production management, and delivery, collaborating with brands, agencies, and creative teams on projects across the United States and internationally.
Shot on 35mm, Zoya's film Margreet (2015) (aka Mata Hari) had its World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2015 Short Corner. She also produced Margreet, in which she co-stars with Riley Smith.
Earlier in her career, Zoya worked at Newroz Films as a personal assistant to J.J. Alani, a WGA writer, DGA director, and producer. While at Newroz Films, she supported independent film projects through development and production, gaining hands-on experience in coordination, scheduling, and on-set operations, and later began producing independent projects of her own.
Born in Belarus, Zoya relocated to the United States at a young age, where she began pursuing a career in the performing arts. She gained extensive experience working across stage, television, and film, spending time on numerous sets before transitioning into production. She earned a degree in Motion Picture & Television from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
