Biography
Nat Cassidy is an award-winning actor, novelist, playwright, and musician.
His celebrated horror novels, including Mary: An Awakening of Terror, Nestlings, and Rest Stop, have appeared on best-of lists from Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, NPR, the Chicago Review of Books, the NY Public Library, Amazon, and more. His debut novel, Mary, was recognized by Audible as one of the "Top 100 Horror Books of All Time," and Esquire named Nat among the "writers shaping horror's next golden age."
Nat's acclaimed horror plays have been staged throughout New York City and nationwide. He received the NY Innovative Theatre Award for his one-man show about H. P. Lovecraft, another for his play about Caligula, and was commissioned by the Kennedy Center to write the libretto for a premiere short opera centered on the end of the world.
As an actor, Nat frequently guest stars on network procedurals, portraying various antagonists on shows like Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, Bull, Quantico, FBI, and others. He also has a rich background in Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway theater. He resides in New York City with his wife.
