Biography
Eigil (pronounced I-gil), a Danish actor, proudly honors his Viking roots, with a name originating from Old Norse meaning "spearhead" or "battle tip."
His acting career has taken him to sets in cities such as Los Angeles, Barcelona, Sofia, Vienna, Munich, Dublin, Beirut, Cairo, and Kuala Lumpur. He is fluent in Danish and English, conversational in German, and has working knowledge of Spanish, French, Norwegian, and Swedish.
Eigil began his training at The National Film Actors Academy of Denmark and further refined his craft with international coaches, regularly participating in workshops. Dedicated to ongoing growth, he actively trains weekly with an acting ensemble.
With a degree in script development from The University of Southern Denmark, Eigil also works as a writer, director, producer, and editor on various projects.
Beyond acting, Eigil is a skilled cabinetmaker and singer-songwriter. He holds licenses for motorcycle, car, semi-truck, bus, and forklift operation. Additionally, he has a background as an equestrian, competing in showjumping and military events.
