Biography
Lew Knopp is a proud American, former U.S. Navy SEAL, entrepreneur, actor, producer, devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and CEO of Templar Titan, Inc., a global risk management and specialty services firm.
As an entrepreneur, Knopp has founded and led multiple successful companies supporting the global war on terror, disaster preparedness and response, media and entertainment, construction, nutrition supplements, and physical fitness. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Templar Titan, Inc., Titan Development Group, LLC, All-American Services, Global Matrix Solutions Group, and Obelisk Media, LLC. Knopp and his companies have operated worldwide, addressing tyranny, inequality, and other adverse conditions. He has engineered critical risk management solutions for numerous Americans in geopolitically sensitive and dangerous environments. Knopp has orchestrated successful recoveries, life support, humanitarian aid, and direct action services globally, including multiple Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Response missions, personnel and asset recovery, and protection of high-net-worth individuals, Fortune 500 companies, governments, entertainment professionals, and foreign dignitaries. Domestically, his companies contributed significantly to recovery efforts following Hurricanes Katrina, Ike, Gustav, Sandy, and the post-9/11 World Trade Center site. As a former Navy SEAL, Knopp was at the forefront of the U.S. pre-9/11 counterterrorism efforts, training American allies in special warfare strategies and tactics. He is an expert in asymmetrical, urban, and jungle warfare; maritime operations; Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT); small unit arms and tactics; traditional and non-traditional explosive demolition; free fall parachuting; open water diving and mini-submarine operations; tactical driving; and numerous specialty skills. Trained in Thai boxing and jiu-jitsu, Knopp is a skilled street fighter with roots in West Virginia and Pittsburgh. Following his honorable military service, he served on a Counter Nuclear Proliferation Team operating in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. Knopp is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese and Russian.
In the entertainment industry, Knopp has participated in various television and film projects. He worked with Tom DeSanto (Transformers, X-Men) as Co-Executive Producer and Host of the TV movie "Crisis: New York Underwater." His acting credits include appearances on the TV series "Martial Law," the feature film "Gods and Generals," and other productions.
Raised in the hills of West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Knopp faced family challenges and negative influences during childhood. A supportive aunt gifted him a free weight set and bench, while his grandmother instilled strong family values. From a young age, he directed his energy toward physical conditioning and athletic development, which paved the way for his acceptance into the elite U.S. Navy SEAL Team. For over 25 years, Knopp has contributed significantly to American interests at home and abroad.
