Biography
Mutodi was born in Soweto in 1975. He started acting when he was four years old with the guidance of his mother Thelma Neshehe, who starred in several movies and soaps. His father, Joseph Neshehe, is a businessman who started Lesedi Clinic with Dr. N. Motlana in the early '80s. When Mutodi was 14 years old, he was sent to school in America because of the constant threats to his family by organizations from the previous government.
Mutodi graduated from high school and university in America. He studied Environmental Science, Computer Programming and has a Business Administration degree. He is a fan of the arts and loves performing. He also participated in interim drama projects in high school. Professionally, he modelled for RBA Studios in North Carolina and Worldwide Modelling Group in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2001, Mutodi was asked to join the Worldwide team as a Scout Agent, which he gladly did.
After15 years in America, Mutodi returned home to South Africa in 2004 and has made a great impact on the acting community. In the short time he has been in the country, he has been in 8 films, 7 TV shows and over 50 commercials both local and international. He has also solidified himself roles in hit TV shows like "Muvhango," "Jacob's Cross," "Skwizas," and more. Late entertainment journalist, Kim Clayton-Millar wrote "This young man has an impressive CV for his age..."
There are a few points we would like to mention that are not apparent in Mutodi's resume/CV. First, he has developed as an actor and explored his creativeness. In addition, Mutodi has taken a pro-active stance on his acting and filmmaking career through his senses of motivation and aggressiveness. He is a handsome young man with a great personality and admirable determination.
We firmly believe that Mutodi is a fine young man who is going places. In the short period of time he has been back in South African, he has managed to start and own two film production companies, an event management company, an advertising and media company and he is also a business consultant. He is a scriptwriter, a director and a producer for his production companies and as if that was not enough, he is also a member of the African Success and Entrepreneurial Foundation, AFSEF, whereby he helps develop poor communities by getting them involved in businesses around their areas. Mutodi's main focus is his production company, Mutodi Films and Alexis Consulting Solutions, a consulting company that specializes in team building, immigration consulting, nanny training, USA school placement, psycho-educational groups & individual sessions, business consulting, event management, medical tourism and more.
