Biography

Katrina Milosevic is an Australian TV actress born and raised in Mount Isa, Queensland, on April 25, 1976, at Mount Isa Base Hospital. She lived in Mount Isa for about seven years before relocating to Mackay, Queensland. She also spent a brief period in Mossman, Queensland, before returning to Mackay. Katrina is the daughter of Rade Milosevic (Serbian) and Angela Milosevic, both of whom are now deceased. She has a younger brother and an older half-brother. Her parents always believed she would become an actor and strongly encouraged her. Katrina trained as an actor at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney. She also had a short modeling career and performed with a Shakespeare company, touring Australia, before her acting career took off. She currently resides in Melbourne.

Katrina's career spans numerous Australian theatre productions, television shows, and films. She is best known for her role as Sue 'Boomer' Jenkins in the award-winning Australian TV drama Wentworth (2013). She started as a background character in season one before joining the main cast as the beloved Sue 'Boomer' Jenkins, appearing from the first season through to the eighth and final season. Milosevic was part of the 'Wentworth Four,' one of four actors to remain on the series from its beginning.

Her other credits include the Australian crime drama Stingers (1998) as Sophie, a stint on the Australian soap Neighbours (1985), participation in the 2019 SeaChange reboot, and appearances in the comedy series Rosehaven and Spreadsheet.
