Biography
Vinita Khilnani is a Los Angeles-based actor, comedian, and improviser whose work spans film, television, commercials, and live performance. She has appeared in national campaigns for Volkswagen, ESPN, Opendoor, Yahoo Mail, and more. Most recently, she collaborated with Academy Award-winning cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema on a Volkswagen commercial. A versatile performer, Vinita is officially part of the Star Wars universe as Endario Zinn in Disney's Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience, earning her a place in Wookieepedia and is the face of Priya Zaveri in Call of Duty Black Ops 7. In 2023, she co-created and sold the comedy sketch special Mother's Day Mom-A-Thon to Pluto TV's Always Funny channel. She was also honored with the Best Supporting Actress award at the Sweden Film Festival for her performance in the dark comedy Dead to Me. Known for her sharp comedic timing, Vinita's viral sketch, "How Our Parents Used to Take Pictures," amassed millions of views across TikTok and Instagram, introducing her humor to audiences worldwide. She continues to sharpen her craft at The Groundlings, where she was awarded the prestigious Groundlings Diversity Scholarship, and has performed extensively in sketch comedy, improv, and musical theatre. Beyond acting, Vinita is a passionate performer and educator, currently entertaining young audiences through children's concerts with the Eco Heroes, where she teaches environmental stewardship through music and comedy. A former pop singer-songwriter who toured with her original music, she also holds two master's degrees in science, a unique combination of artistic creativity and academic achievement.
