Biography
Zoren Legaspi, born on January 30, 1972, in Manila, is a Filipino actor and television director.
He comes from a family of Filipino celebrities, including his father Lito Legaspi and brothers Kier and Brandon, who are all actors. His wife, Carmina Villaroel, is a movie and television actress. They have twins, Cassandra and Maverick, born in the United States.
Zoren was once the leading man of beauty queen and actress Ruffa Gutierrez, who is his ex-girlfriend. He was part of That's Entertainment as a matinee idol and earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 1995 Gawad Urian Awards for his role in the film The Fatima Buen Story.
He directs television shows for GMA, such as Fantastikids, Fantastic Man, Wag Kukurap, and Atlantika. His film directorial debut was Ultraelectromagnetic Love for Regal Films, scheduled for release in 2008.
Zoren had a minor role in the ABS-CBN series Agua Bendita.
He returned to GMA alongside his partner Carmina to host the talk show Love Ni Mister, Love Ni Misis, marking his first TV hosting gig and first talk show on GMA 7. The show premiered on August 9, 2010.
Zoren later hosted Paparazzi on TV5 with co-hosts Ruffa Gutierrez, Shalala, Christy Fermin, and Mo Twister. This was his second hosting role after Love Ni Mister, Love Ni Misis on GMA 7 in 2010.
He made a comeback to drama in Glamorosa, starring alongside grand slam best actress Lorna Tolentino and former Palmolive endorser Alice Dixson. The show premiered in November 2011.
In November 2012, Carmina and Zoren tied the knot. ABS-CBN aired a special coverage of their wedding on November 24, 2012, titled Zoren-Carmina: Always Forever, A Wedding Like No Other. The surprise proposal and flashmob-style instant wedding concept was inspired by a similar episode of the U.S. TV show Mobbed, hosted by Howie Mandel.
