Biography
Ramsey Faragallah is an actor, writer, voice-over artist, and teacher. He has performed onstage at venues such as the Kennedy Center, The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Manhattan Theater Club, Rikers Island, various minimum and maximum security prisons, Yale University, Sundance, Woolly Mammoth, The Guthrie Theater, American Repertory Theater, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Play Co, The McCarter Theater, The Culture Project, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Hartford Stage, Red Bull Theater, New York Stage & Film, The New Vic in London, and numerous international theaters. His television credits include recurring and guest roles on Tommy, Bull, Mozart in the Jungle, Taken, Madame Secretary, The Blacklist, Homeland, and all three Law & Order series. He has worked alongside Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Nicole Kidman, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, George Clooney, and Kenneth Branagh, appearing in films directed by Sidney Pollack, Sidney Lumet, Woody Allen, among others, and stars in the upcoming Rupert Wyatt epic Desert Warrior. His voice-over work includes Radio Lab, This American Life, Playing on Air, NOVA, Random House, Penguin, and thirteen seasons on the Late Show with David Letterman. Ramsey studied with Stella Adler and is a member of The Actors Center. He enjoys shooting skeet, trap, and sporting clays, and is passionately committed to restoring, driving, and racing vintage automobiles—sometimes even legally.
