Biography
Julia Davis is a Ukrainian-born producer, director, and screenwriter in the film and television industry. She serves as a Russian Expert at the Atlantic Council's Disinformation Portal and is a member of the Academy of Arts & Sciences, Screen Actors Guild, Women In Film, and other esteemed guilds and organizations. Recognized among the Top 40 Ukrainian Producers, Directors, and Writers, Julia also belongs to the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association. She holds a Master's Degree in Aviation and Spacecraft Engineering and is fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. Additionally, she studied basic Farsi at Cal-State Northridge, CA.
Julia developed expertise in National Security, Counter-Terrorism, Immigration, and Russian Propaganda through her tenure as a federal officer with the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection, where she served as an Acting Supervisor while undergoing processing for Special Agent employment with the FBI. An internationally recognized Russian Media Analyst, she founded the "Russian Media Monitor" website, dedicated to debunking propaganda and tracking Russian media. As an investigative reporter, Julia covers foreign policy, international and domestic affairs, and related topics. Her investigative work has led to retractions and corrections from RT (formerly Russia Today) and other global media outlets.
A former DHS and Customs & Border Protection law enforcement agent, Julia has appeared on prime-time shows such as "The Doctors," "Access Hollywood," "Good Morning America," "Inside Edition," "Entertainment Tonight," "CNN," "HLN," and "Nancy Grace." She has provided commentary on Fox News programs including "Follow the Money" with Eric Bolling and HLN's "Nancy Grace," discussing national security, immigration, corruption, counter-terrorism, human rights, civil rights, and due process. Julia supports charitable organizations like the Wounded Warriors Chapter, the Therapeutic Living Center for the Blind (sponsored by the Conrad Hilton Foundation), the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the Humane Society.
In her film career, Julia has worked as a stunt double for Academy Award winners Angelina Jolie and Helen Hunt, including on the international franchise "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
