Biography

Though standing just 37 inches tall, making him one of Hollywood's smallest actors, Josh demonstrated talent early in life. Before reaching his teens, he created and distributed his own business cards, which helped him secure a role in "The Dancing Baby" ice cream commercial. This opportunity led to his performance in Baby Geniuses (1999), where he portrayed all the babies and performed all the dancing. His co-star, Peter MacNicol, introduced him to David E. Kelley, who cast him as Oren Koolie, a recurring child lawyer character who challenges Ally on Ally McBeal (1997). Josh's first contracted TV role was on Passions (1999). He also appeared alongside Jim Carrey in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).

His mother recently shared: "Though his life was brief, it was filled with big dreams, many of which he turned into reality rather than just imagining them. He believed the only impossible dream is one no one dares to dream; every other dream is achievable. I hope Josh is remembered not for his passing, but for truly living a life full of love, laughter, and countless dreams. He made the most of what he had, was larger than life, and we should all aspire to be as wise as this little guy with big dreams.
