Biography

Andrew W. Marlowe, occasionally credited as Andrew Marlowe, is an American screenwriter and producer. He is best known as the creator, executive producer, and writer of CBS's The Equalizer (2021–present), the CBS series Take Two (2018), and the ABC series Castle (2009–2016). He also penned the screenplays for Air Force One, End of Days, and Hollow Man.

Marlowe received the Nicholl Fellowship award for screenwriting for his script The Lehigh Pirates. Shortly thereafter, he sold Apogee, a space-themed adventure, for $500,000.

He is reportedly the ghostwriter or co-writer of Heat Wave, a mystery novel released on September 28, 2009, credited to the fictional Richard Castle—the titular character of the Castle TV series; the novel features as a plot element within the show.
