Per Nørgaard was born on 13 July 1932 in Gentofte, Hovedstaden, Denmark. He was a composer and producer, known for The Man Who Thought Life (1969), Babette's Feast (1987) and The Red Mantle (1967). He was married to Helle Rahbæk Hansen and Anelise Brix Thomsen. He died on 28 May 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
