Biography
David Austin Veslocki is a multi-Grammy Award-nominated, multi-Billboard charting producer, composer, guitarist, director, songwriter, and record label founder whose work has generated more than 1.3 billion streams and views worldwide. His career spans feature films, television, commercial advertising, and artist development, with credits ranging from major studio campaigns to Billboard-charting releases.
His credited work includes official promotional campaigns and music associated with The Matrix Revolutions, The Matrix Reloaded, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, America’s Got Talent, CSI, The Chew, Splitting Up Together, and numerous additional film, television, and advertising productions. His music has also appeared in films including Adam, Roll with Me, and All About the Money.
Across his career, David has received multiple GRAMMY Award nominations through projects on which he served as a producer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer. His work has earned numerous Billboard chart appearances in roles including producer, songwriter, performer, and label founder. His recordings have been released through labels including Sony, Atlantic Records, RCA Records, Kontor Records, 300 Entertainment, and others, reaching the Top 10 in more than fifty countries.
Beyond recorded music, David’s compositions and productions have been featured in campaigns for brands including Ancestry, Major League Baseball, Nissan, Nivea, Pfizer, and Sperry, and have aired on networks including ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MTV, NBC, PBS, VH1, Animal Planet, and National Geographic through placements with Universal Music Group, The Royalty Network, and other publishers and music libraries.
As a performer, David has appeared internationally throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific, performing with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, composer John Adams, and on tour with Francesca Gagnon of Cirque du Soleil’s Alegría. His performances have taken place at venues including Carnegie Hall, Blue Note New York, T-Mobile Arena, and The Bushnell.
A graduate of the Eastman School of Music and Yale University, David was the first undergraduate at Eastman to earn a double major in Classical Guitar and Jazz Guitar before completing both a Master’s degree in Classical Guitar and an Artist Diploma in Production at Yale on full scholarship.
David is the founder of Frameworks Records and Sapphire Records, where he produces records and develops artists across multiple genres. His productions have included collaborations with internationally recognized musicians spanning classical, jazz, rock, Broadway, and contemporary popular music. In addition to producing records, he directs music videos and visual campaigns, integrating music production with cinematic storytelling.
Earlier in his career, David founded the Connecticut Suzuki Guitar Academy, whose students have performed at Carnegie Hall, One World Observatory, Palacio del Quintanar in Segovia, and the Guitar Foundation of America, earning recognition in national and international competitions.
Based in Los Angeles, David continues to produce music, compose for film and television, direct visual media, and collaborate with artists worldwide.
