Biography
Spyros Poulos is a production sound mixer and audio & music professional with a career spanning the music, film and television industries. He has an extensive and diverse background in production sound, post-production sound services, sound design, composing & scoring, music production, studio recording, mixing & mastering with over four decades of experience collaborating with artists, directors, writers and production teams. Known for delivering high-quality audio recording in studio, stage, on-set and on location environments.
In 2014, Spyros joined International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), Local 52 and transitioned into union film and television production sound. He has worked for the past 11 seasons on NBC’s, Saturday Night Live, and now serves as the SNL - Film Unit, production sound supervisor and production sound mixer for the show’s weekly pre-taped sketches and has mixed over 100 episodes in that position. In addition to his on-set work, he operates Logic Music Inc. and Logic Sound Studios, providing 5.1 surround post-production, sound design, recording, mixing and mastering, remote recording & music playback services and sound reinforcement systems for film & television productions. His company serves the music, film, television, entertainment, and corporate communities.
