Biography
Deniz Alnitemiz is a Turkish comedian, screenwriter, and former advertising art director. He completed his education in Istanbul, studying at Kadikoy Anadolu High School while receiving classical guitar training at Istanbul University State Conservatory. He later earned a degree in Graphic Design from Marmara University and a master's degree from Mimar Sinan University. Alnitemiz began his career in advertising, working for leading agencies such as McCann, Grey Worldwide, Leo Burnett, Medina Turgul DDB, and Rafineri.
In 2010, after the film rights to one of his stories were acquired, he transitioned into screenwriting. That same year, he founded the traveling comedy collective Kismet Sov, becoming one of the early pioneers of Turkey's new wave stand-up scene.
For more than 15 years, Alnitemiz has written for and appeared in various film and television projects, including Kucuk Hesaplar, Moral Bozuklugu, Kizma Kazan, Hayalet Dayi, Son, and Ayak Isleri. He has also created radio programs such as Sevginin Gucu and "Asirir Deniz" for Acik Radyo.
On YouTube, he continues to reach wide audiences through his self-written and directed stand-up special Breakdown, the Kismet Sov special, and the video cast series of his popular podcast "Sizin Gununuz Nasil Gecti?". His upcoming projects include the series Icindekiler, which he wrote, directed, and co-produced, and the comedy show Baslik Parasi, a Kismet Sov spin-off. Alnitemiz has also appeared as a speaker at TEDx and corporate events for organizations such as Garanti Bank, Borusan Holding, Hepsiburada, Koc, and Hugo Boss Turkey.
