Stacy Francis is an internationally acclaimed singer, actress, producer, entrepreneur, and humanitarian whose career has spanned Broadway, television, recording, film, and live performance stages around the world. A recording artist who has performed and recorded with Prince, shared stages with some of the most celebrated entertainers of her generation, and appeared before audiences across more than 256 cities worldwide. A standing ovation from Simon Cowell launched one of the most memorable moments in television history when Stacy appeared on The X Factor USA. Following her performance, Cowell declared, "That was one of the best auditions I have ever seen in my life. You did more than sing it. You believed it. I loved it. I loved it. I love you." Long before her television success, Stacy had already established herself as a respected performer. Signed to Warner Bros. Records at just seventeen years old, she became a member of the successful R&B group Ex Girlfriend, managed by renowned music executive Benny Medina. The group recorded for 2 albums for Warner Bros. Records and toured internationally. Early in her career, Stacy appeared on the legendary television programs Showtime at the Apollo and Soul Train, hosted by the iconic Don Cornelius, placing her among a distinguished group of performers featured on two of the most influential music platforms in American television history. She has performed with Prince and his band on numerous occasions, opened for him in concert, and recorded music with the legendary artist. Her collaborations and performances include appearances alongside Grammy, Emmy, Tony, and Academy Award-winning artists such as Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Chaka Khan, Kenny G, Bebe Winans, CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar, Chick Corea, MC Lyte, Doug E. Fresh, Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Il Volo, Arisa, and had the honor of doing a tribute concert honoring the legendary Patti LaBelle. Among her notable theatrical achievements, Stacy starred in a major musical production at New York City’s Madison Square Garden alongside Grammy Award-winning gospel legends CeCe Winans and Shirley Caesar, further showcasing her versatility as both a vocalist and stage performer before one of the world’s most iconic audiences. One particularly memorable moment occurred during Stacy’s run as a leading lady in the Broadway hit Footloose. While attending a Whitney Houston concert, Stacy was unexpectedly invited onstage to sing with the legendary artist. The following day, the New York Post featured the headline, "Whitney Houston Fan of Footloose Star." Today, Stacy’s performance of "Let’s Hear It for the Boy" from the Footloose cast recording continues to find new audiences, with more than 2 million streams on Spotify. In Italy she performed alongside Il Volo and Arisa during the prestigious Christmas Concert at the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi, Italy, during the pontificate of Pope Francis. The annual event, one of Italy’s most celebrated holiday broadcasts, was televised nationally on Rai TV. Stacy’s dedication to service has extended far beyond the entertainment industry. She proudly performed on United Service Organizations (USO) tours for American military personnel stationed around the world, bringing music and encouragement to servicemen and women serving their country overseas. Her career has also included special performances for charitable and humanitarian causes. Among them was a fund raising concert supporting the charitable efforts of John Travolta and Kelly Preston in Hawaii, using music to help raise awareness and resources for important community initiatives. In addition to her performance career, Stacy served for two years as Minister of Music for Living Waters Christian Center in Los Angeles, a congregation founded and supported by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
