Biography
Jeremy Garrett began his acting career in his early teens in San Diego, California. By seventeen, he had performed in several theatrical productions at prestigious venues such as the La Jolla Playhouse and the Old Globe Theatre. His strong theatrical background provided a solid artistic foundation, enabling him to smoothly transition from stage to screen. At eighteen, after earning a regional Emmy nomination and receiving an offer to play "Todd Wilkins" in the international teen hit "Sweet Valley High," Jeremy paused his university studies to pursue a career in Hollywood, quickly signing with the William Morris Agency. Following the worldwide success of "Sweet Valley High," syndicated in over ninety countries, he guest-starred in popular TV series including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." In 1998, Jeremy landed a lead role in the post-Civil War drama "Legacy" for Viacom. After "Legacy" ended, he continued guest appearances on shows such as "Jack and Jill," "Ally McBeal," "Joan of Arcadia," "NCIS," "Jack and Bobby," "Without a Trace," and "CSI: Miami," working alongside talented actors like Anne Hathaway, David Caruso, Joe Mantegna, Anthony LaPaglia, Jacqueline Bisset, and Emmy-winning producers David E. Kelley, Clyde Phillips, and Jerry Bruckheimer. At the same time, Jeremy wrote, directed, and produced his first film, the short "Osten and Lilla," featuring Justin Bartha and Eliza Dushku. In 2005, he won the role of "Danny" in the NBC comedy pilot "Lies and the Wives We Tell Them To," acting with an ensemble cast including Kyle Chandler, Martine McCutcheon, Ed Helms, and Emmy-winning director Gary Halvorson. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys traveling to Italy to visit family, writing, and pursuing his passions for photography, architecture, and design.
