Biography

Megan "Meg" Prescott (born 4 June 1991 in London, England) is an English actress and bodybuilder, best known for portraying Katie Fitch in the double BAFTA-winning teen drama Skins (2007). Born in Palmers Green, London, she is six minutes younger than her twin sister, Kathryn Prescott, who is also an actress. Megan attended Palmers Green High School for her primary education, St. John's Senior School for secondary education, and completed her Sixth Form College studies at Ashmole. She also pursued university studies in television production, specializing in directing. Before embarking on her professional acting career, Megan and her sister took weekly drama classes, where they met future co-star Lily Loveless. Prescott made her acting debut alongside her sister in a 2008 episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors (2000) titled "Dare, Double Dare, Truth." However, her breakthrough came in 2009 when she starred as Katie Fitch in the third series of Skins (2007). Both she and her sister, who portrayed Katie's identical twin Emily Fitch, began filming the third series in July 2008 and continued their roles into the fourth series.
